Inviting clients to their portal

Each client gets their own login. They see only the projects you've linked them to, and within those projects, only the tasks you've made visible.

From a project page

  1. Open the project.
  2. Scroll to Client Access.
  3. Enter the client's name and email, click Send Invite.

The client gets an email with a one-time link to set a password. The invite link is valid for 7 days.

From the Clients page

For clients you work with regularly, you can pre-create them in Clients and link them to projects later. This is useful if you want to add the same client to multiple projects without re-entering their details each time.

What clients see

After signing in, clients land on a clean dashboard with their active projects. Clicking a project shows the visible tasks, current status, due dates, and any files you've attached for them. They can comment on tasks and upload documents (if you've enabled file uploads on that project).

Removing access

To revoke access, go to Clients, find the client, and either remove them from a specific project or delete their account. Deletion is permanent and removes their portal access immediately.
